Consolidated net sales for the six-month period ended September 30, 2007 amounted to 187,691 million yen, a rise of 7.1% in year-on-year terms. On a consolidated basis, operating income increased 1.5% to 26,492 million yen and ordinary income increased 3.2% to 27,342 million yen, while net income was 1.3% higher at 14,863 million yen. This marked the fourth consecutive increase in sales and the fifth consecutive rise in profits during interim fiscal periods.
